You’ve probably been reading my blog for a while, or I know you personally, or you’re a friend or family member. I want to thank you for supporting me and this book — it’s been a dream come true!
2. Why do you care about sales?
I don’t — I mainly care about not being obscure. I want more people to find The Golden Crystal and share it with friends. However, I need your help to “break into” the Amazon ranking system:
Basically, part of the way Amazon’s ranking system works is by measuring “past 30 day” sales. If I can sell enough copies each week/month, there will be more chance for the book to rise through the charts! The more sales, the more people find the book, and the more people I can reach!
3. Why don’t you just give me the book for free?
Printing on paper and then shipping it to people costs money, so I can’t do that. I’d love to, believe me!
4. Can I get a nameplate if I’m outside the U.S.?
Of course! After you buy and send the receipt, you’ll get a link to an online form — you can put whatever shipping address you’d like there, and I’ll take care of the cost of getting it to you.
5. What format is the audiobook?
Right now, the preview is in .mp3 format (no DRM), so you can literally pop it on any device that plays music. The final audiobook is sold through Audible/Amazon, and is in their proprietary format (with DRM).
